Multiplying Fractions Worksheet – Grade 5
Multiply fractions and write every answer in simplest form. The easy sheet multiplies a unit fraction by a unit fraction (1/2 × 1/3) and a fraction by a whole number (2/3 × 6 = 4, 3/4 × 5 = 3 3/4). The hard sheet multiplies two fractions (3/4 × 2/3 = 1/2), a mixed number by a whole number (1 1/2 × 4), and solves short story problems in metres, kilograms and litres. The answer key shows the product before and after simplifying.
