Rhyming Words Worksheet – Kindergarten

Hear the rhyme at the end of short words. Kids read a word, like cat, say the three choices out loud and circle the one that rhymes, like hat, dog and cup. Only short three-letter words with one vowel, in the word families children learn first: the easy sheet uses -at, -an, -ap, -ag, -ig, -in, -ip, -op, -og, -ot, -ug, -un, -et and -en; the hard sheet uses -ad, -am, -it, -id, -ix, -ub, -ut, -um, -ed, -eg and -ox. Every question has exactly one rhyming choice.
