Ratios, Rates and Unit Rates Worksheet – Grade 6
Write and use ratios and rates. The easy sheet writes a ratio from a short sentence (3 apples and 5 oranges is 3:5) and finds the missing number in a pair of equal ratios (2:3 = 8:?). The hard sheet works out unit rates (120 km in 2 hours is 60 km per hour), scales a recipe or a paint mix (2 L of yellow for every 3 L of blue), writes a ratio in its simplest form and a part-to-whole ratio like 3 red marbles out of 8. Metric units only.
