Integers, Opposites and Absolute Value Worksheet (Set 2) – Grade 6
Negative numbers for the first time: integers from −50 to 50. The easy sheet asks for the opposite of a number (the opposite of −7 is 7), its absolute value (how far it is from 0) and compares two integers with <, >, or = (−5 and 3, −7 and −2). The hard sheet orders three integers, compares absolute values, and turns real situations into integers: 3 °C below zero, 12 m below sea level, 2 floors below the ground floor.
