Dividing Fractions by Fractions Worksheet – Grade 6
Divide a fraction by a fraction by multiplying by the reciprocal, and write every answer in simplest form. The easy sheet divides two fractions with small denominators (3/4 ÷ 1/2 = 1 1/2). The hard sheet divides a mixed number or a whole number by a fraction (1 1/2 ÷ 3/4 = 2, 4 ÷ 2/3 = 6) and adds story problems in metres, kilograms and litres, like 3/4 kg of rice packed into 1/8 kg bags.
