Numbers from 1 to 10
When we count, we say the numbers in order: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Try saying them with me!
Counting things
To count things, point at each one and say a number — but only ONE number per thing. Three apples: 🍎(one) 🍎(two) 🍎(three). There are 3 apples!
The bigger the number, the more there is
5 is more than 3. 10 is more than 5. The further along we count, the bigger the number gets.
