Two tiny words, big power
"Because" tells you the REASON. "So" tells you the RESULT.
"It rained, SO the ground is wet." — Result first. "The ground is wet BECAUSE it rained." — Reason first.
Same idea, two ways to say it. Once you can use both, you can explain anything clearly. Teachers, judges, and scientists rely on these two words every day.
- BECAUSE = "the reason is…"
- SO = "the result is…"
- They link a cause to its effect — same sentence, two directions.
